0xCC Conference
Run by Alannah Goh, Founder of 0xcc

2 Days  |  5 Training Courses  |  9 Travel Grants Awarded.
A free cyber security training conference by women, for women.


haXX, Melbourne
Run by Pamela O'Shea, Director at Shea Security.

This initiative provides technical security classes and support for women who wish to break into the technical security field.


Purple Team Australia
Run by Linda Cavanah, CyberMerc

AWSN is proud to be part of a collaborative partnership between Cybermerc Pty. Ltd., Baidam Solutions Pty. Ltd., AustCyber, Anomali, Uplifting People; and University of Tasmania.


Within the cyber security industry, professionals in defensive roles are commonly referred to as ‘blue team’ and offensive professionals are known as ‘red team’. The concept of the Purple Team Australia Program combines blue and red teams, working together in partnership to support Australia’s national interest, security and prosperity.


The Purple Team Australia program is now seeking applications from women and First Nations Australians to be part of this exciting initiative commencing on 26th June 2023.  


Applications open on 20 March 2023 and close 5 May 2023.

Tangible Uplift Program
Run by Nivi Newar, UNSW

This program focuses on training and assisting 50 women across Australia with passing the CISM written exam in 2023 and increasing their cyber security skills, uplifting their credibility index and marketability, and assisting with job-readiness.
