Project Friedman

Project Friedman

Program Description

This program aims to support women in the cybersecurity industry in Australia by providing professional public speaking coaching and assistance. The program focuses on women who have never presented at a security conference before and have been working in a security role for at least three years.

The program’s primary goal is to address the underrepresentation of women in the cybersecurity industry especially in conferences and media platforms. By creating a supportive environment, the program will help women develop their public speaking skills and deliver impactful presentations. Through training sessions, individual coaching and group rehearsals, participants will gain confidence and refine their presentation content. The program also enhances participants’ industry profile, attract more opportunities, and contribute to the breaking the cycle of women underrepresentation.
